Whether it’s the fruit of the vine, or from a tree or a bush, gardeners just love to grow ’em.
Many home gardeners are space constrained and often think that their backyard is too small to allow them to grow fruit trees, bushes, or vines. But there are many dwarf tree varieties that may prove a perfect fit for a smallish backyard.
There are also many, many vining and bush-bearing varietiesto choose from. Raspberry and Blackberry are probably the best known. They grow upward and take little space. They can be used to make borders around your vegetable garden, or along back property lines.
Then there is bush-bearing plants. Blueberry, bushes are attractive, compact, and fit well right in many flower beds.

When considering planting fruits, gardeners take note that they are popular with birds and other animals. If you want to attract birds to your yard, small fruits may be just the answer to this quest.
