Here’s a quick 30-minute recipe for making strawberry jam, so you can enjoy the fruits of your harvest all year long. For larger batches, simply take the ingredients in this strawberry jam recipe and multiply each ingredient.

1 quart fresh picked strawberries
4 cups sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 package of fruit pectin
First, clean and sterilize one pint freezer containers.
Rinse strawberries and remove stems.
Next, crush the strawberries. Make it chunky or smoother, as you and your family like it.
Then, measure 1 3/4 cups of prepared strawberry, and place in a large bowl.
Thoroughly mix in sugar. Let stand for 10 – 15 minutes.
Add lemon juice and fruit pectin. Stir in thoroughly.
Pour into one-pint freezer containers.
Let stand for 24 hours at room temperature to properly gel.
Place one container in the refrigerator, and the rest in the freezer.
