Fresh Strawberry Pound Cake Ingredients:
1 package (18 1/4 oz.) white cake mix
1 cup crushed fresh strawberries
1 package (3 oz.) strawberry flavored Jell-O
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs, room temperature
1/4 cup butter or margarine
3 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
1/4 cup mashed strawberries
Strawberry Pound Cake Preparation Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 325 ° F.
Combine cake ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
Pour batter into a well greased and flowered tube pan.
Bake for 45-55 minutes, until done. Test with a toothpick for doneness.
Remove from oven and place cake on a cooling rack for 10 minutes.
Place the cake on a serving plate.
In a mixing bowl, combine glaze ingredients. Mix until smooth.
Drizzle glaze over the cake.
