Every year when the peaches are ripe on your tree, it’s time to break out the brandy. This dessert recipe is so simple, so quick, and easy. But, it’s ohhh, so good! You’ll be glad you made this Peaches with Brandy recipe.

2 cans peach halves
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup peach or apricot brandy
4 drops almond extract
Drain peaches, reserving 1 cup of juice.
In a bowl, mix together sugar, and 1 cup of peach juice, and boil until reduced by one half.
Allow to cool.
Add brandy and almond extract, stirring together well.
Pour over peach halves, and serve.
Recipe Tip: Adding a dollop of whipped cream on top.
