Cranberry Drop Cookie Recipe Ingredients

1/4 cup margarine

1 1/2 cups flour

3/4 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons milk

3/4 cup chopped cranberries

1 egg

1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel

How to Make Cranberry Drop Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 ° F.
  2. Grease two large cookie sheets.
  3. Cream margarine and sugar in a large mixing bowl with a mixer at medium speed.
  4. Beat in milk, egg, vanilla, and orange peel.
  5. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  6. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
  7. Carefully fold in cranberries. Do not use a mixer for this step.
  8. Drop cookie batter, by the rounded teaspoonful, onto the cookie sheets.
  9. Space cookies about two inches apart.
  10. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
