4 cups cranberries, washed
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
2 ounces brandy
In a pan, combine sugar and water.
Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
Add cranberries, cover, and simmer until the cranberries stop popping.
The sauce should be very thick. If not, cook for another minute or two.
Skim off any foam.
Add brandy.
Serve cool or cold.
