Apple Cake Ingredients

How to Make Apple Cake Ingredients:

1/4 pound of butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, separated
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Topping Ingredients:

3-4 apples, peeled and sliced into eighths
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup sugar

Directions How to Make Apple Cake

Preheat the oven to 350 ° F.
First, cream butter and sugar in a large bowl.
Next, add well-beaten egg yolks.
Sift together dry ingredients. Then add the mixture to the batter along with the milk.
Beat until smooth.
Fold in well-beaten egg whites and vanilla.
Pour batter into a greased can-floured cake pan.
To make the topping, mix together sliced apples, cinnamon, and sugar.
Arrange apples attractively on top of the batter.
Bake in the oven for 45 – 50 minutes.
Use a toothpick to test for doneness
