Master Gardeners

Do you like to help others? Master Gardeners are people like you and me, who are devoted to the hobby of gardening. They are so devoted that they take a course in gardening through their local Cooperative Extension Service and receive a certificate. A Master Gardener is required to perform several hours of community service each year, doing something related to gardening.

Can you be a Master Gardener? Sure! You don’t need in-depth knowledge, extensive education, or big credentials. All you need is an interest in gardening, and a willingness to volunteer and help further the hobby of gardening by helping other gardeners.
