Sauteed Cherry or Grape Tomato Recipe

Description: It's mid-summer, and you never imagined how many cherry tomatoes a couple of plants could produce. What are you going to do with all those cherry tomatoes? Why, Saute them, of course!!

Serves: 4


  • 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 4 cups cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in half

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 Tablespoon fresh chopped basil

  • 1 Tablespoon fresh chopped parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Sauteed Cherry Tomatoes:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet.

  2. Add tomatoes and saute until they are heated through, about 3-4 minutes.

  3. Add garlic and continue to saute for 2 minutes.

  4. Stir in herbs, salt and pepper.

  5. Remove from heat.

  6. Serve hot.
