How to Make Gramma's Homemade Apple Pie Recipe

of this pie will come out very flaky.

6 large baking Apples, Macintosh or your favorite baking apple.
1/2 cup light brown Sugar
1/2 cup granulated Sugar
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Allspice
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
2-3 pats Butter or Margarine
How to Make Apple Pie Crust:
In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients for the crust.
Separate the dough into two balls.
Put each ball between two sheets of wax paper.
With a rolling pin, roll out balls, making them large enough to fill the

Set pie plate and the crust top aside, and prepare the pie filling.
How to Make Apple Pie Filling:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Peel and and core the apples.

Add sugar, and spices.
Put mixture into the pie plate, and dot with a few pats of butter and
a few teaspoons of flour.
Put the top crust on the pie and crimp edge.
Slit the pie 4-6 times.
Sprinkle a little cinnamon and granulated sugar on top.
Place pie on a cookie sheet to catch any runover, and put in pre-heated oven.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Then, reduce heat to 350 degrees, and
bake for 50 minutes, or until top and bottom crust is brown.
Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
