Apple Spice Cupcake Recipe
As soon as apples are ready for harvest, we all look to find apple recipes.
This one is sure to be a hit at the dinner table and for Halloween parties.
These cupcakes are popular from Halloween to Thanksgiving, and all the way
through the holidays.
Yield: 24 cupcakes
Apple Spice Cupcake Ingredients:
||Apple Pie Spice
||Unpeeled, diced Apple
||Walnuts, coarsely chopped
||Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipped Cream

How to Make Apple Spice Cupcakes:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put 24 paper liners into two cupcake pans.
In a large bowl, mix together the pound cake mix, and apple pie spice.
Add and mix in milk and eggs, until well-mixed.
Stir in diced apple and chopped walnuts.
Spoon batter into paper cake cups, to 2/3 full.
Place in the oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes, until done.
Use a toothpick to test for doneness.
Allow cupcakes to cool on a wire rack.
While the cupcakes are baking, mix confectioner's sugar and lemon juice.
Spread frosting onto cupcakes.
Top frosting with a walnut half.
Sprinkle with colored sugars (especially for Halloween parties).
