This spicy pumpkin pudding recipe is an oldie but goodie. Surely, it will put a smile on your face. Serve it hot, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. There’s nothing better!

2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cups light brown sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup molasses
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
vanilla ice cream
Recipe Tip: The pudding can be refrigerated, then reheated in the oven or microwave before serving.
