1 cup butter or margarine (softened)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. pumpkin spice
3 Tbsp. sour cream
1 can pumpkin pie filling
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Place softened butter or margarine in a mixer.
Beat on low until butter is fluffy.
Slowly add sugar and brown sugar, mixing on low speed.
Add eggs, mixing until smooth.
Add vanilla extract.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Slowly add dry ingredients, while at low mixer speed.
Mix together well. thoroughly.
Add pumpkin and sour cream, and continue to mix on low.
Place cake mixture into greased cake pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Top with whipped cream and cinnamon just before serving, or a cream cheese icing.
