Perfect Pumpkin Pie Ingredients

1- 15 oz. can of pumpkin (2 cups)

1- 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk

2  large eggs

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp. Ground Ginger

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon salt

1- 9 inch unbaked pie crust

9-inch unbaked pie crust shell

Directions How to Make Perfect Pumpkin Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 425 ° F.
  2. First, in a bowl, whisk together pumpkin, condensed milk, eggs, spices, and salt.
  3. Next, whisk until smooth.
  4. Then, put pie shell crust into an ungreased pie pan.
  5. Pour pumpkin into the pie shell.
  6. Bake at 425 ° F for 15 minutes.
  7. Reduce temperature to 350 ° F, and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
  9. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

TIP: Cover crust only with foil, if (before) it begins to get too brown.
