First impressions matter. The first thing guests see when they walk into your home is the coat closet. As they hang up their coats, they see how messy and cluttered the closet is. And, it causes them to wonder what the other unseen rooms in your house look like.
Begin by giving your coat closet a thorough cleaning. Next, before you put things back, identify what you really don’t need or use. Then, donate or discard them. Next, remove coats, jackets, and boots that are not needed for the current season. Place them in the basement or another closet. Finally, spray an air freshener into the closet.
Now, when your guests go to hang up their jackets, they will be impressed by how neat your home is!
