Are you into making your own salad dressings? I’m not sure where this old garlic French dressing recipe got its name, as it does not taste or look anything like the “French dressing” you get in the store. It’s very easy to make, too.

2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 cup virgin olive oil.
1/3 cup vinegar
Add all ingredients together in a jar or container.
Shake thoroughly to mix.
Pour over your favorite salad.
Refrigerate any leftover.
