How to Make Chili Stuffed Sweet Bell Peppers

This recipe shows you how to make chili stuffed peppers. This is a very old recipe. And it is very easy to make. It gets its name from the chili beans in the recipe. It only has a little chili powder, just enough to give it good flavor without much “heat”. Adults will enjoy it. But, not some much the little tykes. Rather, when you make this recipe, bring out the “mac and cheese” and some fresh garden peas for the kids.

Do You Like it Hot? After you’ve made this recipe once, add some chopped hot chili peppers, or hot sauce to the mixture.

Servings: 6

Today’s Hot Pepper Trivia: President Lyndon B. Johnson loved his chili, and he loved it hot. His favorite recipe was called “Pedernales River Chili”, named after his Texas ranch.
