Household Cleaning Tip

Did you know your toothbrush holder is one of the germiest items in your bathroom? It’s true!

First, we put the toothbrush into our mouth, which has plenty of bacteria. When we are finished brushing our teeth, most of us barely rinse it off before putting it into the toothbrush holder along with toothbrushes from other family members. Plenty of bacteria-laden water drips down to the bottom of the toothbrush holder where bacteria can thrive. It’s all pretty gross when you think about it.

So, clean out the toothbrush holder every couple of days. Finally, rinse it in a solution of bleach anr water to kill the germs.
