Creamed Broccoli on English Muffins recipe is good for lunch or dinner. You can also use buns or other toasted bread, in place of the English muffins, if you prefer.

Did You Know? There is no machine to harvest Broccoli. So, the crop is harvested by hand using a sharp knife to cut the head from the plant.
12 ounces of broccoli (fresh or frozen)
4 Tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
pepper, to taste
4 Tablespoons flour
1 1/4 cups evaporated milk
3/4 cups chicken stock
4 English muffin halves, toasted and buttered
Coarsely chop, cook, and drain broccoli.
Melt butter in a saucepan.
Blend in paprika, salt, pepper, and flour.
Combine evaporated milk and chicken stock.
Stir over low heat until the sauce is thickened and smooth.
Add broccoli.
Serve hot on toasted and buttered English muffin halves.
