If you don’t have a lot of time to bake, but you need to make a quick dessert or snack, try this Quick Blueberry Biscuits recipe.
Yield: 10 biscuits

1 tube (10 oz.) refrigerated flaky biscuits
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon grated lemon peel
melted butter or margarine
Pre-heat oven to 400° F.
Remove each biscuit dough from the tube.
Separate each biscuit into two halves horizontally.
In a mixing bowl, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon peel.
Spoon a Tablespoon of blueberry mixture onto the 10 biscuit halves.
Top with the remaining 10 halves.
Pinch all around the edges to seal blueberries inside of the dough.
Place biscuits into paper muffin cups.
Brush tops with melted butter.
Sprinkle tops with additional sugar.
Bake for 12 minutes, until golden brown.
Have a variety of different-sized brushes handy to get in and around small spaces. Even a small paintbrush can be useful in tight spaces. Brush dust and debris out of tight spots. Then, pick it up with your vacuum cleaner.
