Asparagus and Mixed Vegetable Grill Recipe Description

Time for cooking on the grill!? Certainly, anytime is grilling time. This great asparagus and mixed vegetable grill recipe features asparagus, along with a variety of other fresh garden vegetables. They blend together well. In addition to the vegetables listed in this recipe, you can add just about any other veggies that are currently ripe in your garden.

Asparagus And Mixed Vegetable Grill Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons basil leaves, chopped

  • 2 Tablespoons garlic, minced

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil

  • 10  fresh Asparagus Spears

  • 1 red or yellow bell pepper, cut into thin strips

  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into thin 2″ to 3″ strips

  • 1 medium yellow squash, cut into thin 2″ to 3″ strips

  • 2 small potatoes, cut into 1/4″ round slices

  • 1 small red onion, cut into 1/4″ round slices

Recipe Suggestion: Try adding some garlic cloves to this recipe.

Asparagus And Mixed Vegetable Grill Recipe Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, basil, garlic, salt and black pepper.

  2. Place vegetables in a large bowl.

  3. Drizzle olive oil over vegetables and toss to coat well.

  4. Add seasoning mixture and toss to coat vegetables.

  5. Place vegetables in a grill basket.

  6. Grill over medium heat for about 15 minutes, until vegetables are tender.

  7. Occasionally turn vegetables as they are grilling.
