Veggie Pizza Squares Ingredients

2 – 8 oz. packages of refrigerated crescent rolls

2 – 8 oz. packages of cream cheese, softened

1 – 1 oz. package ranch-style dressing mix

4 medium size carrots, finely chopped

1 cup green onions, chopped

1 cup green bell pepper, chopped

1 cup red bell pepper, chopped

1 cup fresh broccoli, chopped

Directions How to Make Veggie Pizza Squares

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° F.
  2. Roll out the crescent rolls onto a large, non-stick cookie sheet.
  3. Stretch and flatten them to form a single rectangular shape.
  4. Place in the oven and bake for 11 to 13 minutes until it is golden brown.
  5. Allow it to cool.
  6. While the sheet is cooling, place the cream cheese in a medium size bowl. 
  7. Mix in 1/2 of the ranch dressing mix.
  8. Spread the mixture over the crust after the crust has cooled.
  9. Spread the vegetables, one at a time, on top of the crust.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  11. Cut into bite-size squares.

Recipe variation: Try other fresh garden vegetables. However, avoid juicy vegetables like tomatoes.

Kitchen Cleaning Tip

Cleaning your blender is a cinch.

Simply fill it with warm water. Add a couple of drops of dish detergent, and a drop or two of vinegar.  Turn the blender on, and it will be clean in a jiffy.

Finally, rinse it out with hot water.
