Popeye the sailor would just love this delicious and nutritious spinach salad. And, so will you!
This salad recipe comes with its own special dressing.

Salad Ingredients:
Medium to large bowl of fresh garden spinach (or 1 store-bought package), washed
1 can of bean sprouts, drained
2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced and quartered
6 fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced
3-4 strips of fried bacon, crumbled
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
croutons
Dressing Ingredients:
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cusp sugar
1/3 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/4 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
2 – 3 dashes of Worcester sauce
Add together all salad ingredients, except bacon, croutons, and onion slices.
Sprinkle bacon pieces onto the salad.
Top with red onion slices and croutons.
Whisk together all dressing ingredients.
Pour dressing over the entire salad or individual bowls just before serving.
Tip: You can also use this dressing on any other salad greens.
Crouton tip: This recipe is best when made with your own Homemade Salad Croutons.
