Cultures all over the world use garlic to flavor foods in a wide variety of recipes. Chefs and home cooks alike constantly look for ways to use it. This Roasted Garlic is easy to make. Once it is roasted, it takes on a mellow flavor. It becomes soft and spreadable. Spread it on crackers, Italian bread, baguettes, or any bread. Try it on meats and vegetables, too. It’s a real treat to make this oven roasted garlic recipe. Make it once, and you will find yourself making it often.
This recipe is easy to make. And, it only has three ingredients.

4-6 garlic heads (bulbs)
1-2 teaspoons Olive Oil per head.
Parmesan Cheese (Optional)
Pre-heat oven to 400 ° F.
Remove the outer skin of the garlic head.
Cut across the top of the head, exposing the insides of the individual cloves.
Place garlic heads on a baking dish or pan.
Drizzle one to two teaspoons of olive oil on each head.
Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top. (Optional)
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
Cook for 30-35 minutes, until garlic, is soft. You can test with a toothpick or a fork.
Allow to cool, just enough so you can touch the cloves with your fingers.
Squeeze the garlic out of the clove and spread it onto crackers or bread.
Wipe down range hoods with vegetable oil.
Range hoods collect all kinds of grease. Then, dust attaches itself to the grease making an ugly mess. Ad a couple of drops of vegetable oil on a paper towel or rag. Then, wipe the range hood. The grime comes off easily without scrubbing that can scratch the hood.
