Pumpkin Spice Cake Recipe
Yum, Pumpkin Spice Cake. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Yours
will be too, as you prepare this great dessert. Try it during the fall months,
and all the way through to the holidays.
1 cup butter or margarine (softened)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3 Tbsp. pumpkin spice
3 Tbsp. sour cream
1 can pumpkin pie filling
Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
Place softened butter or margarine in a mixer.
Beat on low until butter is fluffy.
Slowly add sugar and brown sugar, mixing on low speed.
Add eggs, mixing until smooth.
Add vanilla extract.
Sift dry ingredients together .
Slowly add dry ingredients, while at low mixer speed.
Mix together well. thoroughly.
Add pumpkin and sour cream, continue to mix on low.
Place cake mixture into greased cake pan.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
Top with whipped cream and cinnamon just before serving, or a cream cheese
