Potato Skins Recipe
Description: Potato skins are easy to make. With just a baked
potatoes, and a few of your favorite "additives", you have a great snack.

Yield: 4 to 4 1/2 dozen cookies
Ingredients:

4-6 medium sized potatoes

American or cheddar cheese, grated
-
bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled
-
sour cream
-
chives
-
parsley flakes
Note: Don't use artificial bacon bits. It just doesn't taste right.
Preparation Directions:

Bake potatoes in oven at 350 ° F until done.

Remove potatoes from oven, cut lengthwise, and scoop out potato, leaving
a little in the shell.

Add a thick layer of cheese.

Top it off with crumbled bacon pieces.

Cook for a few minutes under the broiler, until cheese has thoroughly melted.

Remove from oven and serve hot with sour cream, fresh chives, and fresh parsley
flakes on the side.
Tip: You can also use the microwave to melt the cheese. But, it is
better under the broiler.
