6 sweet potatoes
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
Pre-heat oven to 350 ° F.
Peel potatoes and cut them into 1/2 inch slices.
Arrange potatoes in a greased baking dish.
Boil sugar and water for 5 minutes.
Add in butter and stir.
Pour mixture over potatoes.
Bake in the oven for 1 1/4 hours, until potatoes are cooked through.
