Onion and Carrot Kabobs Recipe
Description: Get out the skewers and lets get grilling this
vegetarian treat. You don't have to be a vegetarian to enjoy it. This kabob
will go will with just about any grilled meat. We do think it goes especially
well with grilled ham.
Boil a pot of water.
Place onions and carrots into boiling water.
Boil until they begin to get tender, about 10 to 15 minutes.
While vegetables are boiling, mix all other ingredients together in a bowl.
Drain vegetables and allow to cool enough to handle. Run them over cold water,
if you are in a hurry.
Put onions and carrots onto skewers, alternating the onions and carrots.
Place kabobs on the grill.
Baste with molasses mixture two or thee times while kabobs are cooking.
Grill until tender.
