Lima Beans in Sour Cream Recipe

Description:  This quick and easy recipe, is sure to bring smiles at the dinner table. This is a very, very old recipe.


  • 3 cups fresh  (2 packages frozen) lima beans

  • 2 Tablespoons chopped onion

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 Tablespoons chopped pimiento

  • 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • Dash of pepper

Preparation Directions:

  1. Cook lima beans and chopped onion in boiling water until tender, about 12-15 minutes. Drain.

  2. Add remaining ingredients.

  3. Stir to mix.

  4. Heat thoroughly

  5. Serve hot.
