Herb Wine Sauce Recipe

Description: Cooking with your own fresh garden herbs is fun. This herb wine sauce is good on beef, lamb and poultry. Try it on baked or grilled meats. The Chili Sauce adds a "kick" to it.


Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Chili Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Red Wine

  • 1/4 tsp. Oregano

  • 1/4 tsp. Rosemary

  • 1/4 tsp. Thyme

Herb Wine Sauce Preparation Directions:

  1. Mix together all ingredients.

  2. For oven baked meats, brush sauce on the meat just before putting it in the oven, and again about 15 minutes before it is done.

  3. For grilled meats, set meat on the grill and brush on sauce.

  4. Turn meat when half-cooked, and apply sauce to the second side.
