Coleslaw Dressing Recipe Description

Making your own coleslaw is quick and easy. This traditional coleslaw dressing recipe is a basic recipe that’s sure to please.

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 head cabbage

1 carrot, medium size

Coleslaw Dressing Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon vinegar

1/4 teaspoon sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

black pepper to taste

3- 4 drops of lemon juice

How to Make Coleslaw Dressing Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the dressing ingredients. Set aside.
  2. Shred 1/2 of a head of cabbage.
  3. Shred carrot, and add it to the shredded cabbage.
  4. Pour about 2/3 of coleslaw dressing into the cabbage. Mix well.
  5. Add the remainder of the coleslaw dressing, if the coleslaw looks a little dry. You may or may not need all of the dressing.
  6. Cover and place coleslaw into the refrigerator for at least an hour to chill.
