Celery Stuffing Recipe

Description:  This celery stuffing can be used with just about any meats. It seems especially good with poultry. It is a very old recipe


  • 1/2 cup bacon fat

  • 1 Tablespoon parsley flakes

  • 2 onions, chopped

  • 2 quarts breadcrumbs

  • 1 quart, chopped celery stalks and tops

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • Water

Preparation Directions:

  1. In melted bacon, cook onions for a few minutes.

  2. Add celery, breadcrumbs, slat, and pepper.

  3. Mix together.

  4. Add a little water at a time until is reaches a nice consistency.

  5. Serve hot, by itself, or stuff it into your favorite meat.
