1 egg, beaten
2/3 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk
3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup fresh blueberries, washed
2 tablespoons sugar
Pre-heat oven to 400° F.
Beat egg.
Gradually add sugar. Beat well.
Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
Gradually add to mixture, alternately adding milk.
Beat well after each addition.
Add melted butter and vanilla. Beat well.
Fold in fresh blueberries,
Grease a 1 1/2 quart baking pan.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Test with a tooth pick. If toothpick does not come out clean, bake a few minutes more.
Serve warm.
