Paprika is a very mild hot pepper. It’s so mild, that you can hardly taste the heat in this Paprika Browned Potatoes recipe. It puts just a little zip into browned potatoes.

Paprika Browned Potatoes Recipe Ingredients

6 medium potatoes

3 Tablespoons melted butter or margarine

1/2 cup corn flake crumbs

2 teaspoons paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes

Recipe Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 ° F.

  2. Peel potatoes and cut them into 1/2 inch slices.

  3. Brush both sides of potato slices with melted butter.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together corn flakes crumbs, paprika, salt, and parsley.

  5. Roll potato slice in the mixture to coat.

  6. Bake in an uncovered casserole dish for 1 1/4 hours.
