Carrot Bread Recipe Ingredients

2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup vegetable oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 12 cups sugar

2 cups peeled, grated carrots

3 eggs

1/2 cups raisins

Making Carrot Bread Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350° F.
  2. Sift together flour baking soda, and spices.
  3. In a mixing bowl, stir together flour with spices and sugar.
  4. Add vegetable oil, vanilla, carrots, and eggs.
  5. Mix together until the dough is smooth.
  6. Fold in nuts and raisins.
  7. Bake in the oven for one hour.
  8. Test with a toothpick for doneness.
