Bob's Secret Apple Crisp

Description: It's so simple and easy ,that no one believes it. But, they definitely love it! This recipe was handed down in my family for generations.


Ingredients:

6 cups Peeled apples
1 cup Flour
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Butter or Margarine
Toppers:
Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipped Cream


Preparation Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree.
  2. Mix flour and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Add butter and blend in well to form an even, crumbly mixture.
  4. Peel apples and slice into pieces.
  5. Place apples into a shallow, glass baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle margarine, flour and brown sugar mixture evenly over the apples.
  7. Bake in oven for 45 minutes, or until apples are soft and a light brown color.


Serving Tips and Suggestions:
  • Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
