How to Prepare Homemade Horseradish Recipe
Description: There are very few ingredients to prepared Horseradish.
Horseradish is a very overpowering flavor, so the taste of other ingredients
would be lost. What is important in preparing horseradish, is knowing how
to handle this strong root. We discuss that below, prior to the directions
for preparing horseradish.
Ingredients:

White Vinegar |
| 2 Tbs. |
Water |
IMPORTANT: How to Handle Strong Horseradish:
Horseradish has a strong odor. When preparing horseradish, we recommend you
have good ventilation in the room. Avoid the temptation to take a long sniff
of it.
We also highly recommend, that you use food preparation gloves when working
with horseradish. If it gets onto your hands, do not touch your eyes or nose.
Preparation Directions:

Peel a thick, ten inch piece of horseradish root. You can use a knife or
a vegetable peeler.

Chop the root into small pieces.

Put the pieces onto a a blender or mini-food processor.

Add a couple tablespoons of water.

Grind well.

Drain off excess water.

Add vinegar and grind for just a couple seconds to mix vinegar into the ground
horseradish.

Put prepared horseradish into a glass jar or a tightly sealable plastic
container.

Refrigerate any leftover. It will keep for about a month.
